• baking cakes and licking out the bowl with Miss M
• putting the world to rights over a glass of red wine with my husband Mr A

• cold jacket potato sandwiches for breakfast
• family holidays in The Lakes
• tulips
• Cinderella, handsome princes and happily ever afters
• beautiful fabrics
• holding hands and lots of kisses and cuddles
• opening the windows and letting in the fresh air

• seeing my daughters do something for the first time, finding their own way and making their own decisions

• reading bedtime stories
• wearing scarves in winter and summer and anytime in between
• doing the housework whilst singing loudly to Bonnie Tyler's "Total Eclipse of the Heart"  (OK I don't actually like doing this but Bonnie T makes it bearable)

• being able to hang out the washing in the garden
